Alexa’s POV
Alexa could feel her body shivering as her strange abductor held her in his strong arm, he was holding her closely to his chest as he walked into a large house. His chest drummed against her ears with so much power but she was not surprised, after all she had seen the terrifying power resting within this body
Just moments ago, this beast of a man had fought against the Magician prince in his giant Lycan, while both were battling however, some other witches had emerged from behind aiming to steal her away.
Then hell broke loose, she heard him uttered a terrific roar of absolute wrath and the world had turned dark in her vision. She had probably fainted at that instant and when she finally recovered, all she could see were the only skeletons of the ones who had attacked her. As for the crown prince, she could see him escaping rapidly among the trees while he, the Lycan stood in a newly created crater for a moment before turning back into his human form.
He however hadn’t gotten out of the battle unscathed, several burnt lacerations could be seen all over his body from which blood trailed down, and Alexa flinched just looking at them. No matter how powerful he was, those would without doubt hurt, but he did not seems in the least concerned as he had simply walked towards her frozen figure, picking her off the ground and then setting off.
“Stay there.” His gruff voice jolted Alexa out of her thought and she felt herself being put on a cold floor. This room did not feel much like a guest room, in fact, looking at the bars which it had for a door, she realized she had been put in a dungeon.
Without a word, her abductor walked towards the dungeon door but Alexa had eventually summoned enough courage to speak.
“Who are you?” She asked.
Her voice came out faint and fast as her heart beat rapidly within her, she dreaded his response. After all, He could turn into a feral and end her pathetic human life in a moment.
The man paused just before the door and silence followed.
For each seconds that past in silence, Alexa felt her heart sinking even more in dread, as she expected a wolf maw in her face any moment.
“Deron.”
She stiffened on hearing the gruff voice, had he just answered her.
“I am Deron. That is all you need to know.” The man stated before opening the dungeon door.
“Deron.” Alexa repeated, before quickly speaking again, “why? Why did you stopped my marriage and abducted me? Why are you locking me in a dungeon?” She asked, summoning all her will to not sound shaky.
The man closed the dungeon door, his dark eyes piercing into her for a moment before he walked away.
“You haven’t given me an answer. Why have you abducted me? You are wounded, free me so I can help you gather some herbs to heal you.” Alexa shouted grabbing the steel locks, but Deron had walked off.
“Mum, what is happening?” Alexa muttered, sliding down the dungeon bar.
Deron’s POV
Deron walked into his large room, before shredding off the coat on his body and groaning. The princess scent, her beauty, the overpowering urge to protect her and the fact that she didn’t seems to feel suffocated just standing near him, all pointed at one fact and he hated it
“She is mate!” the wolf inside of him growled and Deron gripped his head.
“Why? Why must it be a weak human?” Deron growled back.
“It doesn’t matter, mark her, claim her immediately.” His wolf urged.
“Damn, how can I, she is too fragile, too weak, the pack won’t accept her as Luna. If we bond her, I will lost the right to the Alpha throne.” Deron protested.
“What does it matter? We can’t reject her or we will stay lonely and pathetic throughout our damned life Deron, make her yours right now.” Deron’s wolf growled.
“No, the pack comes first!” Deron snapped.
“What do you mean, No? So why did you bring her here, to kill her?” his wolf snapped back.
“I think I will just let her go, I can’t accept a human as...”
Knock!
Deron could hear a single knock on the door and he stiffened, in a moment, he don himself in a new coat and then walked towards the door, opening it to see a maid.
“What is it?” He growled and he could see the maid began to tremble as her lips moved up and down soundlessly for a moment.
“I am being summoned, right?” he asked in exasperation and the maid hurriedly nodded, and then he spoke on, “prepare a meal fit for a human and take it to the dungeon, whatever you see there, pretend you didn’t, understood.”
“Yes, L, lord Deron.” The maid replied hurriedly and Deron walked off.
Morgan’s POV
Morgan led his soldiers back into the Werewolf castle with a downtrodden face, not only had he failed to kill his target but even his force had dwindled greatly.
He had greatly underestimated the human emperor and empress. They had displayed great power and he had to hold them back while ordering a retreat to preserve his soldiers, the Magician Prince had however, appeared causing great c*****e among the werewolves.
Now he was back with almost a third of his soldiers gone.
“Morgan” He suddenly heard a call and he looked to the side to see the seer standing some distance away.
“Aunt.” He muttered before raising a hand to the soldiers and they paused, “go on guys, I will meet you in a moment.” He said, before walking towards the Seer.
“You look sad.” The Seer observed, her pure white eyes looking at Morgan who looked away from into some mountains.
“I couldn’t kill the girl.” He eventually spoke.
“You are sad because you couldn’t kill the girl.” The Seer repeated, “Your mother should have told you, you don’t need to kill her. And you should be actually happy that you didn’t kill her.” She added.
“Well, mom also said I didn’t need to but why would I be happy I didn’t kill her, if I did, I would have proved to everyone that I am better than Deron.” Morgan argued.
“Why would you need to prove to anyone that you are better than a loser? Deron has already loosed and now you only need to cement his failure, he has abducted the Bride whom he was supposed to kill and now, she is in his personal dungeon.” The Seer stated and Morgan’s eyes widened.
“How? Even with all my force, I couldn’t penetrate into the human Emperor’s castle. How could he do it alone?” Morgan asked, greatly confounded.
“Because he is a Demon.” The seer answered simply before continuing, “Now, he has gone to report to the Alpha and you just have to go there as well. If he claims the Bride escaped him, which I am quite sure he will claim, reveal this secret and have them search his home. The bride will be found and Deron will become a traitor, you will have your place as the Alpha heir sealed.” The Seer revealed.
