Thea's POV
The Alpha's face darkens at Hudson's words to the point that he genuinely looks evil. Then, a low and guttural growl comes from the Alpha's throat that causes goosebumps to cover my entire body. I know that he wants me dead. The growl gets louder until I am shaking where I stand.
It feels as though I am no longer in control of myself, and I turn and run without realizing what I am doing. I have to get away from the Alpha. I have to get away from the pack. I have to get away from this nightmare. And so I run without looking back, with the sound of the crowd fading behind me.
