I look up at Hudson,."This plan could get you killed if we fail to convince the Alpha that we had some magical love at first sight meeting?"
"Yes, it could, but I couldn't just stand there and do nothing. He sentenced you to a public death; it wasn't right."
"What about Emma? Does she know what is going on?"
"No, she was just as surprised as you. We have to keep this all from her too. If we fail, I can't have the Alpha going after her too."
I nod in agreement. "Of course. I feel bad enough that I am putting your life at risk."
"Someone needed to stand up to him." Hudson's face is serious as he says this. There is clearly a history between him and the Alpha. Hudson even called him by his first name in front of the entire pack. I hadn't been here long, but even I recognized
