“Chloe?” Niles called again, pulling her attention back to the call. She had almost forgotten she was still on the line. Every second Jordan drew closer to the car, a couple of admirers trailed behind him. Her pulse quickened. She had not even taken care of her face as he had told her to. “I’m so sorry, Niles, I gotta go now. We will talk later.” She hung up in a hurry and snatched up the small mirror Jordan had left for her on the seat.
