Chloe was very relieved to see that it was just a big black crow. She pressed a hand against her chest to calm the wild beat of her heart and quickly hastened her footsteps, eager to leave the woods behind. She had barely walked for three minutes before sighting Niles ahead. He appeared to be more worried than Jordan had suggested earlier. She tried not to smile at the sight. Why would he be so worried?
