"Aaliyah you don't have to do this you know. We could figure another way out". Nadie told her sister.
She'd heard whatever was discussed between her sister and her parents even though they obviously wish she hadn't.
Aaliyah shook her head as she fixed her headscarf properly.
"I don't want to put anyone in danger Nadie. It's just better this way". Aaliyah told her
"But don't you think your boyfriend could find a way if you told him the truth? I mean he's quite powerful". Nadie tried to reason.
"Ex boyfriend,Nadie. Ex boyfriend. Our parents don't like him and Baba wouldn't like having him interfere in something about our family". Aaliyah said and Nadie huffed. Maybe there really was no way out. And her sister was too stubborn. She'd obviously already made her mind
