Cole woke up with ragged breathing and a little bit of sweat at his forehead. It took him a minute to come back to the reality that Moon wasn’t really with him and that they only made love in the dream realm and not in real life. He wished it was real and was going to make sure he would get the chance to make it happen.
As his heartbeat was steadily making it back to normal pace he realized he could never let her go and he could never destroy her. He had to make her his and no one would stop him, he could feel it in his soul that him and Moonshine were born for each other and he wasn’t going to go down without a fight.
He could have sworn he smelled her on his skin as he lay there before he got up to take a shower. He could taste her on his lips still and he felt like he literally just had mind-blowing s*x in the flesh with the most beautiful creature in the world. Taking a shower made him growl, he wanted to keep her smell on him even if it was just his imagination making him think her scent was really on him.
“When will I get to show myself to you Moonshine? How long will I have to hide in the shadows of your dreams?” Cole was deep in thought in the shower and he felt a longing sadness he had never felt in his life before.

Moonshine snapped her eyes open and tried to catch her breath. She could feel sweat at the edges of her hair line and she clenched her fist once she got her mind into reality. Her body felt like everything that happened with Cole was real. Sitting up she rubbed her head and then it registered that she was in human form, again!
Looking around the cave she saw that no one was in sight except for three wolves prancing about the rocks laughing and tumbling with each other. They looked over at Moon and called out to her.
“Hey Moon! You sure were having a rough night last night. You kept making noises and thrashing around and then you transformed to human form and you still were still moving around like crazy. Bad dream?” The wolf in the corner c****d his head at her and whined.
“I’m fine. I don’t remember the dream though,” she lied. She knew damn well what she was doing last night…
“If you say so,” another wolf answered and the wolves all went back to their play. She couldn’t believe she slept this late; it almost seemed as if she really was with Cole last night.
