I sat still while they discussed what fate would befall me. Startled, when the man he called Kirk came to the gate with Frin. The alpha walked away, leaving those men with me, a huge aura pouring from Kirk’s body.
“You heard what he said,” Frin said as he entered the cell, jiggling the keys in his hands as he walked to where they locked the chains.
