I let out a groan as my eyes fluttered open. Sheila lay on my chest. Her snores were like the sound of tinkers floating into my ears. I pushed her over, hoping I would not wake her with that action, but she didn’t seem to notice, stirring softly before she returned to her sleep.
“Seems you had a good time,” Dex said as my feet touched the ground. I let out a yawn, stretching my hands before I walked to the window. Some vans lined the driveway with some helpers carrying stuff inside.
