I know someone carried me as I struggled in vain to break from the effect of the tranquilizer. It was okay I wasn’t dead, and I wanted to know who would send men after me. I forced my eyes open, but all I could see was static, feeling the thud of someone carry me away.
“Is he going to know someone kidnapped me? What is he going to do if he finds out I’ve been kidnapped?” Those were the questions that ran through my mind with every step.
I woke up gasping for air, feeling woozy from the tranq plus a slight headache from the light entering my eyes. My legs felt wobbly as I dropped them to the floor because I almost collapsed if I had not held onto something.
