Melissa (Gabriella’s Pov)
“Ready for your evening walk?”
I saw him stick his head through my door.
“I might well have been naked,” I said as I pushed myself from the couch to meet him.
“Well, you aren’t naked,” he let out a chuckle as he took hold of me.
My enormous stomach had slowed my routine to barely walking, but it didn’t stop him from coming every morning with my cup of coffee and a smile on his face before he took me out into the woods.
“How are the babies coming?” He asked as he took me on a walk. The walks have been in front of his place recently, as I could barely move around for long.
“Lyra said they are alright and should be out soon,” I said, mirroring Lyra’s exactly as she had watched them more closely than I had.
