“I know Bobs, I know”. I tell the brown cocker spaniel as I roll up beside him on the bed. It is clear to see that he misses Benjamin too. I still find the name Bobby for a dog weird, even after Benjamin explained that he named him after some actor, so I call him Bobs, which he seems to like.
I would know if Benjamin was … Well if he was gone right ? I mean with the mate bond, it should break, shatter … something if he was gone. I remember when Kaisa rejected that bastard she was first mated to, and how it had hurt her even if she was the one doing the rejection.
The worst part is not really being able to do anything, as an Alpha it is extremely stressful to not be able to take action, to handle things. So that is why I am here comforting the dog and myself.
