“What happened ?” I run over to Dacian as he walks in the door, he is carrying my naked and dirty sister.
“Please tell your man that this is … inappropriate”. Tisha huffs, and it makes me instantly feel better, if she has energy to complain she is not too bad off.
Dacian smiles softly at me. “Kioja attacked, Tisha defended Benjamin, but she broke her leg quite badly, that is why I am carrying her”.
“And now I can walk .. I am healed”. She struggles slightly. “Please put me down”.
He complies, but makes sure she is steady on her feet before completely letting go. Tisha stomps over to grab a coat off the rack, wrapping it around herself. “I will just run to get cleaned up and dressed, then we are off”.
