Gently I nudge at my mate's limp body and whimper softly. Kaisa’s eyes flutter half open and she whines softly up to me. I lay down behind her and begin to lick some of her large wounds while I try to keep her warm as she heals.
Tisha comes over, exhausted, to us and falls snorting on her side. I call out to her and she raises her head. When she sees Kaisa laying there limp, she jumps up and transforms.
