*First Person's Perspective* ~Enise~ The air in Lucian's living room felt thicker than usual. The tension was palpable as we all sat in silence, each of us wrapped in our thoughts. My mind was racing, torn between the questions that refused to be answered. What had Lucas been looking for when he stormed into that coffee shop? Was he following me, or had someone tipped him off? My eyes darted between Lucian and Anna, wondering if they were thinking the same thing. Anna was the first to break the silence. "Do you think Lucas is onto us?" Her voice was low, but it carried the weight of her concern. Her usual cocky attitude had shifted, replaced with something more calculating. Lucian didn’t hesitate to respond, but the words that came out of his mouth were just as sharp as his usual ones.
