Things are going much smoother for me nowadays. It has been six months since my meeting with the royal council and I have been able to show them I am very capable of running this kingdom alone.
Though my grandmother has been a great advisor, I find that I have been able to do most things on my own. Her suggestions have helped immensely, however. I had to grieve while fulfilling my duties as queen. One never truly gets over the loss of a parent. You simply learn how to live without them.
I keep the memories of my mother and father in my heart and that is what has kept me going. I use their memories and the lessons they taught me to motivate me to keep going for the sake of our beautiful and fruitful kingdom. These people deserve it.
