"Serena, are you ready? Do you have everything you will need?" Dimitri called to me from the bathroom. I sat on the bed looking into my tote bag and diaper bag, the same thing I have done for the last few weeks as my delivery day grew nearer.
"Uh, I think so." I said before closing both bags and slipping on my shoes. I grabbed both bags but Dimitri rushed out of the bathroom to grab them from me.
"Baby, what are you doing? You know you shouldn't be moving heavy objects. I've got these for you." He gently scolded me.
"Dimitri, they aren't even heavy." I chuckled. "You are just being dramatic." I rolled my eyes playfully and walked to the door to open it. "My king, my queen." The guards bowed to us, smiles on their faces as they escorted us to the hospital to deliver my baby girl.
