In the following days we sat undisturbed in the Robot Rests. I read an interesting electro- book luridly entitled ‘Battlefield Repairs for Military Robots’ that detailed such gems as ‘electron beam welding’ and ‘EPS’ (emergency power supplies). It seemed a prudent choice at the time because I didn’t know what the future held, only that the Triple A’s or the Navy would try and spoil the party. After all, two of their men and a truck containing eleven Robots were missing in suspicious circumstances, so they would hunt for them high and low.
During this rare idle time and I have to say out of devilment, I submitted my favourite book to the local RoboNet; the illegal NASA document detailing the true details of the discovery of the legendary ‘Breakout Ship’ and not the Navy’s crass
