Another week passed, I went to class, work, and then straight home to Keith every day. It was a totally new way of life to me, but I couldn’t help but love it. Even if he had cut his hair. That kind of broke my heart, because he’d done it for me, but it also made me smile, because he’d done it for me.
I didn’t see Rachel, thankfully, but I did see Becky. She was a little miffed at me, that I’d left her at the bar on her own that night, and I apologized. I’d been so caught up in the moment, and then the s*x, that I’d ignored her, even when we were in class because I spent most of the time on my phone with Keith. I valued her friendship so I made an effort and apologized as well as I could with a hug. We made up over a quick lunch between classes and all seemed to be going well.
