I woke up hearing loud, obnoxious beeping in my ear. I opened my eyes, only to slam them closed. I listened to a flick of a switch and was able to reopen my eyes, this time without being blinded. "What happened?" I asked, my voice sounding like I walked through a desert for a month without water. "Your heart gave out, Aria. We're not even sure how you're back with us." I heard Shaun's voice. I looked around and saw him jotting some notes down on a clipboard. "What happened to you, Aria?" Jesse asked, coming to my side. My heart monitor started beating rapidly and offbeat. "She's not ready to tell that yet, Jesse. Give her some time. She'll tell us when she feels ready." Shaun said to him.
