Kate’s POV His lips were warm. That was the first thing my traitorous brain registered before the shock truly set in. It wasn't the cold and calculated kiss of a business partner trying to prove a point. It was demanding and possessed a terrifying amount of heat that seemed to sear through the silk of my dress.
