There was a knock on my door just as I sat down on the bed, contemplating that I should probably take a shower and check up on the guys. I hadn't heard from them since they had told me they were on their way to the old prison.
I invited Rhaegar and Arlo inside, and they walked over to me while I asked if they were okay, taking in their expressions. They said they were, but they wanted to ask me something. They asked if they could skip school and go see their mom instead, and I didn't like them skipping school, but with everything going on, I thought one day wouldn't hurt.
