DIARY 8 : s*x With My Ex
It had been many years since Chris had seen Ella, his high school sweetheart. But now here they were at their friend’s wedding, catching up like no time had passed at all.
“So you’re with him now, huh?”
“Yeah,” said Ella. “It’s been about six months. His name is Matt.”
“Is it serious?”
“Not yet.”
“It will be.”
“We’ll see.”
Chris and Ella were chatting at the bar as they took a break from dancing. The DJ was playing all sorts of songs to get people of all ages in the mood. Ella’s boyfriend had excused himself for a minute to talk to someone. Chris and Ella had spent much of the night together, just like back in the day, which didn’t help Ella feel any less awkward around her current beau.
