Gabriel led Alice deeper into the clearing, his hand still tightly clasped around hers. Alice's heart was pounding in her chest as she looked around at the trees, the shadows, and the full moon above them. She had no idea what Gabriel was going to show her, but she trusted him completely.
As they walked, Alice could sense that something was different. The air around them felt charged, as if there was some sort of electricity running through it. She could feel Gabriel's excitement, and it was contagious.
Finally, they reached the center of the clearing, and Gabriel turned to Alice. "Are you ready?" he asked.
Alice nodded, her heart racing with anticipation. Gabriel stepped back and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.
Suddenly, his body began to convulse, and Alice gasped as she watched him transform. His bones cracked and shifted, his skin rippling and changing color. Within moments, Gabriel was no longer a man, but a wolf.
Alice stared in awe at the massive creature in front of her. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. The wolf was huge, with thick fur that glimmered in the moonlight. Its eyes were a piercing blue, just like Gabriel's, and it radiated power and strength.
The wolf turned to Alice and let out a low growl, as if testing her. Alice felt a surge of fear and excitement wash over her. She had never been so close to a wild animal before, let alone a werewolf.
But as she looked into the wolf's eyes, she saw something familiar there. It was Gabriel, she realized. Despite the transformation, there was still a part of him in there, still a part of the man she had fallen in love with.
The wolf took a step forward, and Alice stood her ground. She reached out a tentative hand, her fingers brushing against the soft fur. The wolf let out a deep, rumbling purr, and Alice felt a sense of relief wash over her. This creature was Gabriel, she realized. And he was still the same person, no matter what form he took.
For the next hour, Alice and the wolf ran through the forest, chasing each other and exploring the wilderness. It was exhilarating, like nothing she had ever experienced before. The wolf was wild and free, and Alice felt like she was too.
As the night began to wane, Gabriel transformed back into his human form. Alice watched in awe as he shifted, his body rippling and changing back into the form she recognized.
Gabriel stood in front of her, n***d and unashamed. Alice felt her cheeks flush as she looked away, but Gabriel simply smiled and pulled her into an embrace.
"I wanted to show you who I really am," he said, his voice low and urgent. "I wanted you to see the real me."
Alice looked up at him, her heart racing with emotion. "I'm glad you did," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've never felt so alive."
Gabriel leaned in and kissed her, his lips urgent and hungry. Alice responded eagerly, her body ablaze with desire. She felt as if she was on fire, like nothing could ever stop her.
As they parted, Gabriel took her hand and led her back through the woods. They walked in silence, their fingers entwined, as if they were the only two people in the world.
Finally, they reached the edge of the forest, and Gabriel turned to Alice. "Will you come back tomorrow?" he asked.
Alice felt a surge of excitement wash over her. She nodded eagerly. "Yes," she said. "I'll be here."
Gabriel smiled and kissed her once more, his lips soft and gentle this time. "I can't wait," he said, his eyes shining with emotion.
With that, he disappeared into the woods, leaving Alice standing there alone. But she wasn't really alone. She had Gabriel, in all of his forms, and she knew that she would never be the same again.
As Alice walked back to her car, she couldn't help but feel like her life had just taken a dramatic turn. She had no idea where this relationship with Gabriel would take her, but she was ready for anything. She felt alive, like she had never felt before, and she knew that she had to see him again.
The next day, Alice found herself back in the clearing once again. She waited for hours, but Gabriel didn't show up. She was disappointed, but she understood. He was a werewolf, after all. He had his own life to live, and she couldn't expect him to be there every time she wanted him to be.
Days turned into weeks, and Alice started to lose hope. She wondered if she had imagined the whole thing, if she had just been caught up in the moment. But then, one day, Gabriel appeared out of nowhere.
He looked different this time, though. He looked tired, as if he had been running for days. His fur was matted, and there were scratches on his skin. Alice didn't care, though. She was just glad to see him.
They spent the day together, exploring the forest and talking about everything and nothing. Alice felt like she was in a dream, like nothing could touch her. But as the sun began to set, Gabriel turned to her with a sad expression on his face.
"I have to go," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I can't stay."
Alice felt a sense of panic wash over her. "Why?" she asked. "What's wrong?"
Gabriel looked away, his eyes shining with unshed tears. "There's something I have to do," he said. "Something I've been avoiding for a long time."
Alice felt a lump form in her throat. She didn't want him to go, but she knew that he had to. She took a deep breath and stepped forward, taking his hand in hers.
"I'll wait for you," she said, her voice firm and resolute. "No matter how long it takes."
Gabriel looked up at her, his eyes full of emotion. "Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be back. I promise."
With that, he transformed into a wolf and disappeared into the forest. Alice stood there, alone, watching him go. She didn't know when he would be back, but she knew that she would be waiting for him, no matter what.
As she walked back to her car, Alice felt a sense of longing wash over her. She missed Gabriel already, and she didn't know how she was going to survive without him. But she knew that she had to be strong, for both of them. She had to believe that he would come back, that they would be together again.
And so, she waited. Weeks turned into months, and Alice spent her days wondering where Gabriel was, what he was doing. She tried not to think about him too much, but it was hard. He had become such a big part of her life, and she missed him more than anything.
But then, one day, he came back. He appeared out of nowhere, just like before, but this time he was different. He was stronger, more confident. He looked at Alice with a fierce determination in his eyes, as if he had accomplished something important.
"I'm back," he said, his voice full of emotion.
