Mui looked in front of him, the bottles of ingedients and chemicals are put in messily, and some of them are not even written with labels to tell what the contents are actually are. He steal a glance to Miss Chiro who still standing while leaning at the wall. She smile smugly, while waiting for Mui to take action.

But when Mui looking to the table again, suddenly ‘those’ things appeared. The three-colored bars, the shapes that written ‘equipment’ and ‘magic’, and once more, everything that he see, now are explained with some sort of information, like ‘health percentage’, and ‘hostility status’.

On top of that chemistry table, Mui realized those sets are highlighted with yellow line, written above the table, are words that he can only see.

‘Chemistry set:

>Create potions

>Quit’

“What is this?” Whisper Mui, for some reason, his mind can control the highlight option of the menu.

“Let me help, this crafting assistance is also part of your new power,” said Goettia through telepathy.

After Mui choose the ‘create potion’ option, his field of vision suddenly changed to another bar of text with two segments. One is the place where he can see the lists of potions, and the other one is the explanation of what the potion’s effect will be. At the very bottom, is the ingredients that are used to create the selected potion.

For some reason, some of the potion names are darker than the other. When Mui move the pointer throughout the names, the lighter-colored ones have additional information at the other menu box.

“Ingredient acquired, item can be created,” he mumble.

“The Caitsih supposed to be down there,” said Goettia. Mui quickly scroll down the menu where he finally found list of potions which names started with C. “Caitsih, there it is!” said Goettia again.

After Mui choose the option, the potions list are gone, and the square shrinked to the upper right corner of his eye, over there he could see list of ingredients, along with step-by-step guide of how to make that potion.

‘Powder of mandrake, hundred mililitre of venusplant solution, and grated carrot within the age of three to five months.’ When Mui browsings through the vial and bottles on top of the table, the yellow highlights of the items are changed to green everytime he able to find the one that matched with description. Even among the bottles without labels, the so-called ‘display’ Goettia give to him is able to identify the name of the content, while also showing a short descriptive information of what is actually are.

From the side, Chiro starring at him with intrigued face, especially when he started to sort the necessary bottles for that potion. But she intentionally left one content out, for the sake of teaches him a lesson.

“Finally, a destroyed cat eye to enchance the usage of the potion,” whisper Mui as he looking through the table, but not until he realized that there is something strange. No matter how many times he browsing and re-browse the table, he could not find the missing last ingredient.

“Weird... All of this ingredients so far located at the same table, and almost next to each other. Why is the last one is gone?” whisper Mui.

Suddenly, Chiro come to him from the side, she cross her arm under her chest and once again alluring Mui with her smile. “At first I thought that you have turned crazy, Mui. Your eyes is empty, and your eyeball are rolling around the direction of the class. But then your hand started to move, choosing all the necessary ingredients.”

She then turned to the class, toward the students. “Why don’t you used this time to explain the ingredients that you choose? Who knows, they might find your explanation much more inspiring them to do their homework?” said Chiro sarcastically. Some of the students of class F throwing their gaze. They know that Chiro mention those people which forget to submit their writing homework.

For some reason, Mui think that Chiro is intentionally doing this. But he did not want anymore trouble with her, so he keeps quiet and do as she says.

“Ok then. First, is mandrake. This plant is the foundation of most potions, especially with it’s rich mana characteristic. You can liquidified it with water, and it even enough as a mana potion itself. Another important aspect, is this Venusplant, the plants that are usually found at mountains range at both kingdom of Human and Elves.”

“Very well!” said Chiro, “But what about that orange powder that you got over there?”

“This?” Mui lift the transparent bag for the classes to see. “Might be funny, but this is actually a carrot,” said him. Suddenly once again the class is filled with giggle.

“Hush! Quiet now!” shout Chiro. “I bet that everyone here have heard it since ther are little. ‘eat a lot of vegetables to make your body stronger’, or ‘eat a carrot, so your eyes is always healthy’. Today i will declare that some of those are true.” She takes a big jar of orange powder from one of the cabinet and showing it to people.

“Carrots are the necessary ingredient for the Caitsih brought by the kingdom. It’s demand even make the kingdom have to use some of their land as carrots farming, isn’t it right Emmellia?” Suddenly Chiro include the Princess who is starring blankly at Mui.

“Huh? Oh! Right! The kingdom mainly focusing their farming on Velgetta and Furtia region, purposing those two as ‘the most important food maker’ for the whole kingdom,” add her, she is a little bit embarassed that she was caught day dreaming in the middle of the lecture.

Chiro put the jar back, and back to the chemistry set. “Although I said before that Caitsih is important, and the kingdom have high demand for them, there is one big exception. The mainly requested potion, are the lesser one.”

After she said that, Chiro turn to Mui once again. “Now Mui, you have come this far. You would not let me down to continue this explanation don’t you?” asked her with alluring voice once again.

Mui gulp, he stare at her, and then back to the ingredients that he collected.

“Without the last ingredient, the potion will only become a temporary potion to increase sight and focus. That is why it is called lesser,” said Mui. Chiro answer it with a nod.

“That’s it! A Lesser Caitsih! It is something that could be made by self-study magician, with no formal education. But your parents have spend fortunes in this school, so you can do something more than making lesser potion aren’t you? That is why this is the task for all of you!”

After Chiro said that, suddenly the class is filled with grunt and protests. Chiro command them to make group of five, and each group are tasked to make ‘medium to high Caitsih’ while looking for that one secret ingredient to complete the missing list that Mui said previously.

“Oh, Mui, please wait for a moment.”

After Chiro assign the task, she end the class quickly. But not before she have little chat with the Devil.

“Yes ma’am?”

“This morning I heard some rumor that one of the prefect is found petrified when patrolling the Forbidden Forrest.”

Suddenly, cold sweat running down Mui’s neck.

“That is... Terrible,” commented him.

“Yes, information so far that we got, is that person seeing sillhouette of a student before he collapse, but he does not remember his face.” Chiro clearly seen Mui’s body that changed from the last time she remember. “Do you know something about that?”

Mui shakes his head, “No ma’am, yesterday after training with Challender and Julius, I returned to the library to finish my homework. But eventually I was late to go back to the dorm,” explain Mui. Chiro then tidying up her books and pen. She looking at Mui with a slightly curious eye.

“Well, maybe Devil and Humans did different after all,” said Chiro. “Don’t be late again ok? No matter how hardworking you are, without result, you’ll just become a lesser, just like this potion.”

Chiro then leave the class, leaving Mui alone. She let out a sigh, and wiping sweat on his forehead.

“I know that woman is not a good news,” said Goettia.

“You know?”

He answer with a chuckle. “When you’re at my age, you can see intentions hidden behind one’s eye, especially, when it come to a women,” said Goettia proudly.
