I sat in – between Jake and Tristian as they was getting prepared.
I teared up as Jake placed his hand on mine, “We will be okay, Love.”
Tristian looked over to us, “Dad is right. We will be okay.”
I looked at Tristian, “Why did you start calling Jake, dad.”
He smiled as he yawned, “Because I want him to be my dad.”
I nodded at Jake as he smirked, “I am okay with it.” I threw my hands up, “And I don’t have as say?”
Tristian looked at me, “Nope.” Both of them started to laughed as the doctor rolled them off.
I waited in the room as I sat on the couch when Jake’s parents, with Justin and a brown hair woman walked in.
Carol came over to me as she kissed me on my cheek, “How are holding up, dear.” I shook my head, “I am a wreck.”
The brown hair woman sat down as she smiled, “If anything I know about my brother in law is that is one tough guy. They pull through.”
I nodded as she smirked, “I am Amy.”
I looked up at Justin as he looked different today. Little more put together and looking more like his younger brother when he smiled, “Don’t worry once you can go back to the penthouse. I will be out of it.”
Amy darted her eyes to him, “What do you mean when she goes back?”
He chuckled as he placed his hand on her shoulder, “Oh you didn’t hear. Jake moved her and the kid in.”
Carol squealed and Rick rolled his eyes, “I am going say this once kid. Run, Run as fast as you can.” I laughed at him.
I love his sense of humor.
I see where Jake gets it.
I got rolled back into the room when I looked over to see Sage sleeping on the couch as my family and friends are there with their fingers to their mouths as the hushed me.
Tristian got rolled in a few minutes behind me as I looked over and he smiled, “Mom is sleeping.
I nodded to him, “She is.” He nodded as he closed his eyes, “Me, too.”
I chuckled as my mother gave me a hug, “how are you doing, love.”
I adjusted as I whispered, “I am fine mom. It not even that bad. They will keep an eye on me until tomorrow then we can go home.”
I woke up as I noticed that everyone was out of the room when I saw Jake and Tristian sleeping next to each other as the nurse looked at me, “They doing great. They will be able to go home tomorrow.”
The next morning, we packed everything up as Tristian looked at me, “we are really going to live in a penthouse?”
I nodded to him, “That is right, so you have to be careful, Jake has a lot of expensive things in there and not exactly kid proof.” Jake smacked his head with his hand, “Shoot, I forgot how old he is. He acts so big sometime.”
Tristian laughed as he wiggled his eyebrows, “No you didn’t.”
Jake winked as he hushed him.
I lifted my eyebrow up when Jake slid his hands on to my waist when I scowled him, “You are suppose to be relaxing.”
He nodded as he smirked when he whispered into my ear, “And I am suppose to make sure I get exercise.”
I rolled my eyes to him as I whispered into his, “Not for another four to six weeks.”
He groaned, “You are killing me woman.”
Two nurses wheeled them out as Walter pulled up in an SUV when he got out and ran over, “I will have your and Jake’s car picked up later on today.”
I nodded as we got into the car. Tristian sat in the middle as he laid, he head on Jake’s side as Jake looked up at me and smiled, “I can’t wait to get to know both of you better.” I smiled at him, “We can’t wait to get to know you better.”
Walter opened the door to the apartment when we heard a bunch of people yelling, “Welcome Home.” Tristian’s eyes got wide as we went in as I held him, “Everyone is here mom.”
I chuckled, “They are.” I placed Tristian down as Jake placed his arm around my shoulders, “Welcome home, Sage.”
I smirked at him, “How are you feeling.”
He shrugged, “Sore but I am will be okay. I will be in the gym tomorrow getting ready to go back to field.”
I shook my head, “You are planning to get back for the six weeks mark.” He wiggled his eyebrows, “I am playing the Superbowl. We will get there.” I leaned up to him and gave him a kiss, “I know you will.”
Jake’s parents made sure that there was food for Jake and Tristian. They both was on a special diet.
Everyone had ate as I walked over to Tristian and picked him off the couch, “The doctor said that you need to be in bed and resting for the next couple months.”
He groaned as Jake laughed as he looked over from talking with his teammates.
I placed Tristian in the spare room when I stopped to see that it is decorated for a five years old boy that loves football.
I felt a hand go around my waist, “Do you like it.”
I nodded as Tristian eyeballed everything in the room as he squirmed in my arms, “This is awesome. I love it.”
He reached to Jake as Jake grabbed him from my arms.
He squinted his face, “Anything for you buddy.” I tilted my head as he walked Tristian to his new bed and laid him down, “Your mom is right you need rest.”
I gave Tristian a kiss and his medications as I looked at him, “The nurse will be by in the morning to check on you.”
He nodded as he held out his arms. I gave him a hug when he said, “You are the best mom ever.” I chuckled, “I hope so. I am your only mom.”
He kissed me and laid his head down as he closed his eyes.
I walked to the door where Jake stood when he wrapped his arms around me, “You are the best mom ever.”
I shook my head, “You are saying that hoping I let you in my pants tonight.” He laughed as he gave me a kiss, “I am always trying to get into those.”
We walked back to the party when Carol walked over to me with a hug, “Welcome home honey.”
I nodded at her, “Thank you, Carol.” She shook her head, “No you calling me mom.” I smiled at her as she looked at Jake.
“He really loves you. I never seen him like this about a woman.” I tilted my head as Jake laughed and talked with the team.
She looked down to me, “Go to him, show him how much you love him, too.”
I smirked as I kept looking at Jake then without realizing that I have found myself next time as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders, “I wish I could go to Buffalo but this little doctor will not allow me to go anywhere I am tempted to place on my jersey and run out to the field.”
The guys laughed as Vincent, “Sounds like she already have you whipped.”
I chuckled as Sage tilted her head to Vincent as she took a sip of her water, “So, I heard that you made a surprise visit to Racheal this morning.” He blushed as she got him on that one as all the guys laughed.
