She sighed, “I think I am falling in love with you, too.” Words to my ears. She went to her elbow as her head hang over my chest, “It scares me how fast this is happening and allowing myself to love someone, after Pat…” I leaned to her and placed my lips on her, “I know. I am scare, too.” Sage sighed as she looked at me, “The thing that scare me the most is that if we don’t work out that Tristian will be the one that gets hurt the most.” I nodded at her a I closed my eyes, “I know. I am not planning on going anywhere. I am here and I am all in.” She nodded to me as she traced my scar on my chest. I looked down at her, “It wasn’t all fame and happiness in my life. When I was a teen, I got involved with the wrong type of people and almost lost my life.” She looked up at me as I leaned towards her face, “My high school couch kicked my ass and made me see that I was worth more than that life.” I looked up at her waiting for her to ask me questions but instead she nodded in understanding and placed her head down on my chest. I laid my chin on top of her head when her breathing slowed down, and she relaxed her body against mine as she fell asleep. He held me as he laid his lips against mine, “I will be back after the game.” I nodded to him, “We will be watching.” He smirked, “I know.” Tristian sat at the end of his bed looking at us, “Jake, make sure you get a touchdown.” Jake looked at Tristian grinned at him, “No pressure right.” I giggled as he held me closer, “I will be waiting for you to get back.” He placed his fingers on my chin, “I know.” He placed his lips back on mine when Tristian groaned, “Ewww. Get a room.” I snapped my head to Tristian as Jake laughed when he let me go and walked over to my little guy. “Take care of your mom.” Jake said to Tristian as he picked him up into his arms. Tristian smirked as he looked at me, “No pressure.” Jake laughed as he placed Tristian down, “None at all.” I watched them as I felt warm inside as Jake and Tristian are becoming two peas in a pod. They did their secret handshake before Jake wrapped his arms around me one more time, “I got to get to practice.” I looked up at him as he gave me a kiss. I walked out of the hospital and to my car. I am happy that I am with Sage and Tristian but scare s**t if it all goes to hell. Sage is right. If we don’t work, then Tristian is the one that lose out. I shook my head as I drove to the stadium. I need to get my head into the game tonight. I stood on the field during practice as Vincent walked up to me, “How are they all doing?” I smiled at him as I stretched, “They are nervous, happy and scared all at once.” He nodded at me as he took a sip of his water, “How are you doing with it all?” I shrugged my shoulders, “I am doing as well as I can. I am scare but I know the kid needs me.” He nodded as he looked up, “We will miss you while you recover.” I got up as I slapped my hand on the back of his shoulders, “Don’t get all mushy on me now man.” He pretended to cry that made me laugh, asshole. I walked over to the lockers as I saw Racheal standing there. I rolled my eyes, “What do you want? Sage is at the hospital.” She nodded as she followed me, “I just wanted to talk to you.” I shook my head as I got to the locker room, “There nothing to talk about, Sweetheart.” She pulled my arm as I looked at her and saw that she has a black eye, “What the f**k happened?” She started to cry, “Patrick, he gone crazy.” I tilted my head as she looked down, “Sage was right. Once he found out I was pregnant, he lost it. He said I was just like Sage. Trying to lock him into something he doesn’t want.” I shook my head, “You need to talk to Sage.” She snorted, “She wouldn’t talk to me.” I shook my head, “You would be surprise.” Vincent walked up next to me as he tilted his head then smirked at Racheal, “Are you going to introduce me?” I sighed, “Racheal this is Vincent and Vincent this is Racheal. She having Tristian’s baby sister or brother.” His eye widened as he saw that she was crying and have a black eye, “Shit.” She nodded as Vincent looked up at the locker room, “I will see if she can sit in the owner’s box until the game is over.” I sighed, “No. She needs to go talk to Sage and do it now. She maybe able to help you, get away from him like she did.” I felt bad for her but at the same time she did make Sage’s life a living hell when she found out that Sage was pregnant. She left Texas because of it. Now they are here. And Racheal wants our help. God damn this Patrick guy. If I didn’t have a career, Sage, Tristian and the surgery to worry about then I would go over there and kill him. I sat on the bed with Tristian when I got a text from Jake, “Heads up. So, you don’t freak out. Rachael stopped by the stadium to talk. It looks like Patrick let loose on her. I told her to go talk to you.” I sighed. Fuck Patrick and his old tricks. I warned her. But damn my heart goes to her. I been there. He will not stop until she lose that baby. He doesn’t want anything tie him just to one woman. Tristian and I sat and watch the beginning of the game with Tiffany, Trevor and Jake’s parents who been stopping by to check on us since they met us.
