BRITA CALLED THEM WHEN they were a couple of minutes away from the address where they believed Dini was being held. She told them about the arsenic aspect of Mike Phillips’ renovations and that she and Percy had found a very small amount of arsenic as an ingredient in a face cream Phillips was putting through the testing process but it wasn’t enough to cause death, unless someone ate a few gallons of the cream.
She sounded discouraged.
“Thanks for the update, Brita.” Clovis hung up and told the rest of the guys what he’d learned. “Another dead end apparently.”
