Lily POV
Walking in the diner direction, we went to the stable and dam, as I saw a tall man grooming a beautiful black horse and this guy was fine as fark from behind. ‘please lord, please let his front complete the back’ praying to my man and thank you lord for answering my prays, ‘ooh and is he checking me out??. Well me likey’ thinking to myself while smiling totally forgetting that I was hungry.
While Trent was getting his animal fix, I was asking the stableman aka Bob questions, found out he is an animal whisper like Trent, he picked up straight away and that’s why he didn’t mind him by the horse and we started asking each other questions.
Next minute, we hear a scream and someone yelling
“WHAT’S THE MEANING OF THIS”, “WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU HERE WITH MY HORSE AND are you SHUT UP YOU’RE SCREAMING THEM” that’s it I was livid and Hangry again, I snapped in that to see my brother curled up holding his ears a screaming and instead of the horse running away they are protecting him from the screaming man.
Pushing him out of the way, as I raised my hand up and said “shhhhh it’s ok, I’m here, he is safe, it’s ok, I’m here, he is safe” until the horse clamed down and started patting his muzzle, then I went to Trent pat him, sooth him and he got up. The horse part ways, and we walked to the door. I turned to look over my right shoulder,
“we will talk soon, another time when there is better company” I said to Bob, the better company part I looked at but the guy who was looking at me with wide eyes
“Don’t you want to know my name or anything about?” he managed to say nervously
“No,” I cut him off without turning to stop.
“I need food like now, before I skin this man” I whispered
“You’re safe, come on, let’s go and eat. I’ll talk to Bob” I say to him
“Blake” all he said, and while the screaming man looked shocked, Bob said “ Blake is Ok, he was and still is worried about you”
“ I’m fine now Blake, ok I lied I’m hungry now, we going to eat now, would you like anything.” He asks Blake as the horse sneered as his reply
“ ha-ha ok carrots it is. Ooh, can you make Blake a special treat Lily” he asked, and before I answered, I heard a whisper “Lily”
“please Lily Blake hasn’t tried your treats yet” looking at me. Breaking me out of my thoughts
“ ok I’ll have to talk to Bob after we eat and while we give him the carrots, so I know what to get”. I say as we walk to the diner.
“ooh and get 2 raw steaks for Gus and Alpha too ok” Trent say “ok” Lily replies, unbothered to his request, and he always says this. We just go with it now.
Brian POV
Shit I’m so over the moon, as I watch my mate and her brother walk away.
27 years of mindless searching, and now my mate is standing right in front of me. Ok, yelling at me. But dam this human is wow, just wow.
‘How are we going to get her now she hates me.’ Brian tells his wolf.
‘ she hates you, not me. Ha’ Alpha replies back.
‘ Well, guess what, dusty’
‘Hmm, what Grumpy’
‘she is a human. How are you going to get to her. Like I said, she hates me,’ Brian says

As we subconsciously start walking towards the diner.
‘ First, fix your mess, mindlink Bob.

‘What am I suppose to do in the meantime’ Brian says to alpha as he mindlink the ranks to meet him in his office in an hour and his beta to meet him in the diner and then mindlink Bob for details after telling him she is a no go zone.
Brian text Drake for everything regarding Lily asap email him and meet him in his office in an hour too.
