Lily POV
Hugging Trent while walking to the diner.
‘Man, that hot guy was a d**k’ thinking to myself
“Hungry bud??” I ask, trying to change the subject
“Yes,” he says quietly
“lets hope they have your chicken parmy,” I said while walking up the stairs to go in the diner.
We met this beautiful girl at the host booth. She shyly smiled at us and said, “Hi, let me show you guys to your table.”
“Thank you, Katarina,” I said. Looking at her thinking. ‘Hmm, i need to keep my eye on you.’ As we follow her to the table.
“I’ll be right back to take your order,” Kat says shyly
“Ok, thank you,” I’m looking at Kat
“Ok, let’s see. Oooo, there’s your parmy , and I think I’ll have a steak meal. Ok , got it, “ I said
When Kat came back with some water and cups.
“Ok, we are ready. 1 chicken parmy with chips n salad, medium rare steak with chips n salad, 1 ginger beer and 1 coke and also in 2 separate bags can we have 6 raw carrots and in the other 2 raw steaks can we have those bags after please.” I said to her
“Umm, ok,” Kat says
“ it’s for Blake, Gus, and Alpha,” Trent said without looking up. He just carried on drawing.
She was shocked and was about to say something, but stopped when she heard the doorbell ring. She turned to see her alpha and nodded and turned to walk back to the kitchen.
As I watched Kat walk to the kitchen, I looked at Trent
“You ok, buddy?” I ask
“Yes, do you think Grumpy will let me feed Blake, Alpha doesn’t mind. He is nice and likes you. He also said I could ride him. Alpha also said Grumpy man is nice, just lonely, so be nice, ok?” Trent says while continuing to draw.
“But he scared you, you had an episode, lucky Blake was there,” I said.
“I scared him more, Blake was telling me about Baba and Alpha and how they are really close. Baba was a baby when he and Blake first met, and he always went to see him first when he came home and that he was due home today.
Blake couldn’t wait for me and you to meet them. Now be nice ok, I’m done talking.” With that, he was done talking, and he put his headphones on and started drawing again.
While a little shocked with our little convo, for some reason, it went quiet, feeling eyes on me, I looked up and saw him
“s**t, please let’s hope he didn’t hear anything,” I whispered
I need more black. “ Trent brings me back to earth.
“Why?” I ask, still staring at the Grumpy man
“Max is black too, and he is going to use all my blacks I have now. Anyway, I don’t want to talk,” Trent replies.
“Umm, hi, unknown person, please pick your jaw up from the ground, you might trip,” I say to the other guy
“Umm, thank you, umm I’m John, I’m the, umm vice Mayor,” John replies, still shocked.
“OO good, I need to meet the Mayor, where is he?” I ask John
“Umm,” pointing to the grumpy man next to him
“ooh, umm, s**t, well, this is awkward, ok, so.” I take a deep breath, and before I could continue, he cuts me off.
“I’m sorry about before, I’m very protected over Blake and was shocked. He’s not really a people’s horse,” he says
“Actually, he likes people, just not heaps and all the time, and he prefers just you too.” Trent says while drawing ‘umm max move little this way ok, great that’s’ Trent’, who speaks out

“ok, but we should be the ones to say ‘sorry’, we should’ve made sure everything was ok, before approaching him,” if quickly changed the subject.
“anyway” I stand up to put my hand out, he looked at my hand and then at me, then grabbed my hand and said “Hi my name is Brian and I’m the Mayor here” Brian said proudly
“Hi Brian, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Lily, and this is Trent, we are here on behalf of Stone Group of Companies to sort the event that’s in 6 weeks. We have a meeting at 6 pm tonight, correct? “ I say while shaking his hand, and these tingles are calming. Then, a spark flowed, and I quickly pulled my hand away.
“s**t,” I heard him mumbled.
Brian Pov
‘ See, he is the key’ Alpha links me

‘Do I look like an i***t? He is autistic not brain dead, and he is very smart.’ Alpha grunts at him
‘Really, how??’ Brian asked, snorting in his head

Standing listening to their conversation about me and my Wolf, realising where I was
“s**t,” I mumbled
“s**t, s**t, definitely sorry about before, don’t cancel the gig, we kind of already planned and promoted it,” I blurted out
“Um, planned, we have not confirmed any plans.” She said, crossing her arms
“ Brian, um, are you an open perv??” She said out loud, “these” pointing to her t**s and said,” These are t**s, breasts, boobs, etc. These are not my eyes, ears, legs, or arms, “ she said
“s**t sorry” I quickly replied
“The planning isn’t for the event.” I quickly change the subject

‘ What the hell are you posing for?’ I ask him
‘well dumb ass, instead of perving on her, look down on the table,’ Alpha said while posing with his muzzle up high with pride.
‘What?’ Brian asked, confused by what’s going on.
‘ Look down, you fool.’ Alpha released his aura
“that’s cool, Alpha. I’m adding it, your turn Max, Good thank you.” Trent said.
I am looking down and forgetting my conversation with both Lily and Alpha.
“wow that’s cool,” I said out loud
“Can we sit with you guys?” I asked
“ok, but no looking I’m not done ok” Trent said
“Thanks Trent” I said as I pulled the chair to sit them.
‘Umm, Alpha, did you transform in front of them? Hang on, I didn’t. But how, how does he know our wolf’s name, colour, and why does Max love him and not in a s****l way.’ My beta mindlink me
‘don’t know, we’ll find out later, its operation woo her, not question her’ I mindlink back.
‘Luna and her family are amazing, congrats, Alpha’ John, mindlink me
‘Yes, yes she is’ is all I say before turning to her and speaking
“ There’s a lot of people all over the country and some from overseas coming and staying. We have organized their accommodation, food, tour’s and activities during their stay. Most people coming from overseas, so far, are some of our members and are coming to volunteer as helpers, “ I said
“Great, let’s talk about work in our meeting. Let’s just eat and get to know each other. Um, you should order, I don’t like eating while people are staring at me, “ she said
“ok, but we don’t have to order. They will send out our favourite plates,” I said
“You guys should come to our Airbnb next week for dinner, Lily loves to cook and bake,” Trent said
“OK,”
“Trent,” both me and Lily said in unison.
“They’re cool, I want to talk to them more,” Trent and shrugged his shoulder, but smirking at us
‘love this dude’ Alpha and Max laugh at me and John
“What the” we both said, not realising we said it out loud, then looked at each other shocked.
