Brianna's POV
I was almost lifeless as I entered my unit. The confrontation with Kate drained me. I don't know what I'll do. I want to follow Kate and explain to her but how can I do that? What will I tell her? Should I tell her about what happened to me? Should I tell her I traveled from the future and I saw what will happen to us?
I shook my head hopelessly. She won't believe me. Who would believe such things? She'd think I'm stupid or too desperate to ruin her happiness that I'm willing to make nonsense stories.
Sitting on the couch, I sighed and chewed my bottom lip. My phone suddenly rang and when I saw Rogue's name registered on the screen, I thought of not answering his call. He might sense that I have a problem.
The call ended and he sent a message.
