I don't remember getting to Skyline Tower. Neither do I remember exactly how I went up to the elevators, or how I even found my way around. But when I stormed into the office and went straight to Claire's desk, my worst fear was confirmed when I realised that she wasn't there.
"Where is she?" I thundered at Andrea, who was trembling in her seat as she looked up at me.
"I-I don't know," she said. "I think she went to the bathroom."
I dashed towards the bathroom, ignoring the collective gasps which swept over the entire floor as they watched me. I flung the bathroom door open, immediately catching her scent. Claire was locked away in the first stall, and I had to knock it down before I could reach her.
