Sweet Lullaby I couldn’t believe the depths of tiredness now enveloping my mind as well as my physical body, as I couldn’t resist going back to sleep any longer. No matter how much I didn’t want to sleep — just so I wasn’t potentially terrified by a nightmare — there wasn’t anything I knew that I could do. The darkness in the dream setting began descending and infused into the scene lower, more intensely, and I started to recognize this dream as a snapshot of one that had very recently been repeating. The familiar places and people in this dream started to disintegrate and dry up again, before suddenly a bright light illuminated and changed everything I could see.
