Breaking Point Wait! I heard a word boom from out of nowhere, shaking the harmful, desolate thoughts from my mind that now felt like cobwebs, but I had already lost my balance and I felt my feet go from under me. I tried to pull my foot back in but I tripped forward. In a split second of time, I changed my mind and twisted my body around as hard as I could to try and face the other way just as I slipped, fell and jolted onto the edge of the cliff, just as my hands clenched onto something solid. What was I thinking?!! My hands were gripped onto some thick undergrowth of some sort but I could feel them slipping a little. I reached up and grabbed onto a rock. I could also feel that my leg was cut and there was blood running from it as I scrambled to get back on firm ground near the edge.
