Vanhut woke up in a strange hospital room, his head was hurting. "Where am I? What place is this? Oww! My head hurts." uttered Vanhut. He was trying to recall what has happened but nothing came to his mind. The only past he could recall was dying under a building. Before he could try to think any harder, a knock on the door abrupted his thoughts. There was a man dressed in a black suit, beside him a doctor was standing while holding few papers in his hand.

Vanhut got up and inquired, "Doctor, how did I ended up here?" The doctor politely answered, "Mr. Vanhut Humbelton, you had an accident. You were somehow under a collapsed building but luckily this young man beside me saved you." Vanhut looked at the personality, he raised a brow and questioned, "Do I know you?" "Haha! Very polite to thank your savior, aren't you?" chuckled the man in black. "If you're done twisting the tales here and there, will you mind spilling the beans about your identity, Sir?" asked Vanhut, in an irritated voice. "Well I'll answer all your questions, after all I've quite to ask too. But for now, you must rest. See you again, Vanhut." the man glared with dark eyes as he answered. Vanhut turned to the doctor and questioned about his health, the doctor informed that he has broken his legs, badly injured his chest muscles and broken a few muscles of his left hand. On an appropriate, it will take two months for him to recover. The doctor exited the room after giving him all the necessary medication.

Vanhut was getting restless over time, he clearly remembered he was dying under the building, he murmured, "I was in the office— the apocalypse— the announcement—that driver and the building falling over— Ahh! what happened after that. God! my head hurts. Where is my family? what about the apocalypse? The apocalypse! Yes! But how did it happen?" His mind was flooded with such questions but he couldn't link a single thought together. He was puzzled and frustrated.

On one hand he was worried about his business, after all he was Vanhut Humbelton, the CEO of Humbeltons, the biggest company of jewellery and gold sale in the city. On the other hand he was worried about what happened to his family, did they survived? And for how many days he has been unconscious in this hospital. But above all the question that troubled him the most was, who was that man in the black suit?
