Alexander's POV
The next morning, I woke up with Zara by my side, feeling guilty but also relieved.
This could be the start of something new. I thought.
She opened her eyes, smiling at me with her eyes sparkling.
"Thank you, Alex." She said. "You are a breath of fresh air."
"Thanks for coming." I replied. "Stand up and get dressed quickly. You need to leave early."
She blinked her eyes, confusion edged on her face.
"What do you mean? I thought we were going to be together now." She said.
"Give me some time to think about it. I have a wife." I said, putting on my clothes, ready to leave.
Her face bore dissatisfaction. "Okay then," she got up. The duvet slipped from her body, revealing her bare skin.
