The awakening When I woke up, I realised I was still alive only thanks to the awful pains assaulting every single bone of my body, also I had a massive headache and I was lacking of courage to open my eyes. I ended up who knows where and I was laying on a bed on my back, the silence interrupted just by the monotone buzzing and the “beep” of some machines, that I supposed were connected to my body. Various bandages tightened me a bit everywhere, on the spot it seemed weird that someone took so much care of me because after all I was still a dog. My chest hurt so much that I had to adjust the width of every single breath, so I decided that before opening my eyes I’d have done a little inventory, to try and understand what were my conditions and if I still had some healthy part.
