Italo’s ghost Walking back home, immersed in the night, I felt sad and alone as ever. To try and lift my mood a little I stopped at a newsagent’s and I bought a magazine specialised in dogs, then I stopped at the butcher and I made him give me the biggest bone he had. When I was still a dog, munching on a bone while I flipped through the magazine looking at the female dogs put me in a good mood, and most importantly it helped me to think. Once I got home I wondered how I had to try and cook the bone, since I was scared of fire. Then it came back to my mind that Italo, when he had to warm up something, put it in a sort of plastic white box and turned a handle.
