I COULDN’T STOP THINKING about Mattie and how she’d conned Jack into lying because of jealousy. She truly was f****d up in the head. I didn’t even believe that she was pregnant anymore.
After dropping Mackenzie off at home, I decided to drop in on Mattie and question her face-to-face. I wanted to look her in the eye when she answered my questions. I just hoped her old man wasn’t around when I got there.
