I HAD TO ADMIT, I WAS anxious about meeting up with Mattie. I didn’t trust her and thought it was strange that she wanted to meet us at the Monroe Mansion. But, I was so intrigued with the place that I didn’t put up much of a resistance when Chase told me about it.
