Lennox saw red the second his gaze landed on her and realized she was out on a date with another man.
He had barely believed Lucy when she offhandedly mentioned it earlier, had told himself she was probably exaggerating, reading too much into something, or maybe just trying to get a reaction out of him, but standing here now, looking at Zara with that man of all people; with Oscar Jameson, proved that she hadn’t been lying.
What did he see in him? Of all the eligible men out there, why this particular man? It wasn't as if Lennox knew him personally or anything, but still…
He got that Zara was actually trying to move on, probably from her ex, but he hated it that she didn't choose him, more than he had any right to.
It wasn’t like he had a claim on her, she had made that damn clear.
