By the time Lennox stepped back into his penthouse, the place was quiet. Almost too quiet, and that told him everyone was gone, but it didn’t know that was including Lucy. He checked his phone as he kicked off his shoes, seeing a text from Lucy. Lucy: Had to leave for work. Bradley helped me clean up. Your place is in one piece, you’re welcome. That was surprising though, that Lucy had cleaned up a bit. He exhaled, glancing around.
