29 SAVANNA Florence, Italy I grabbed the apricot scented bubble bath off of the marble shelf in our suite in Florence and turned towards the window overlooking the Duomo to prepare my bath. Only one problem. A huge, hairy, black spider sat on the drain catch, waving its fangs at me, ready to pounce. Just as the front door of our room opened and shut, I screamed so hard there were flames in my throat. “Dante! Come here!” His heavy footsteps sprinted down the hallway and he shouted, “Where are you?” “In here! Hurry!” He burst into the bathroom, his breath ragged, and panting. I had backed myself up against the wall and pointed accusingly towards the tub. “What is it!?” he asked. “It’s a ginormous spider! You have to get it out!
