Megan  I stood by the window as usual, my eyes wandering across the serene landscape of the Crest Moon pack grounds. The light breeze made the trees sway gently, but my thoughts were far from peaceful. I didn’t know what I was looking for outside. Maybe a distraction, or perhaps some sense of freedom. My days in the pack were quiet and uneventful, and while I appreciated the safety, there was always a strange restlessness that crept into my chest. "Miss Megan," Cindy’s voice brought me back to the present. I turned slightly, noticing her wiping the dust from the bookshelves. "You’ve been staring out that window for quite a while. Are you waiting for something?" I blinked, her question catching me off guard. Was I waiting for something? I wasn’t even sure. "I’m not sure," I admitted
