I woke up to the sound of loud knocking, a noise that was far too annoying for this early in the morning. I frowned, annoyed.
“Who the hell is disturbing my sleep?” I muttered under my breath.
I sat up and looked around, realizing once again that I wasn’t in the comfort of my luxurious room at our family mansion. Instead, I was inside this not-so-small house that was still outside the pack's mansion’s main space. The mansion itself was huge, almost like a castle, and here I was in this place, a guest but not really welcome.
I grabbed my phone, hoping there might be some news, but there were no missed calls or messages from my parents. I sighed in frustration. They were still missing. My chest tightened with fear, but I quickly pushed the feeling down. I can’t afford to panic now.
