As I walked away from Mika’s guest house, the two omega maids, Brenda and Corazon, trailed behind me like obedient dogs. I could sense their eagerness to please, but also the questions lingering on their lips. It wasn’t long before one of them finally spoke.
“Miss Ayla,” Brenda said cautiously, glancing at me with a concerned look. “Do you really trust that human, Mika? She seems... off. Like someone who’s only out for herself. She’s greedy, and frankly, I don’t trust her.”
