“Have allegations been made yet?” I ask Beta Ian.
“No, for now there are just rumours circulating that you killed him.”
“I see. Thank you for informing me. And where is Joey?”
I won’t act on this yet because I know I didn’t do anything to samual. Whoever is trying to frame me is just wasting their efforts.
“He is at my home with his nanny. After the murder incident, I couldn’t take him to daycare,” Beta Ian explains, and once again I am grateful to this man. He didn’t fail me in my past life, and he hasn’t failed me in this one either.
“So when exactly was Samuel found, or likely when the murder occurred?”
“It looks like it occurred after midnight, early morning probably, and the way in which he died… he fought. He didn’t want to die, but the wolf was stronger than him.”
