"How is the work?" Adrian asked Evelina as he handed her the card to make the payment.
Yesterday, after Evelina was discharged from the hospital, Adrian made sure she got the work at a cafe nearest to the Mikaelson Group.
"It's good," Evelina replied and returned the card to Adrian, "and the iced latte. I will bring the cheesecake to your table, Sir."
Adrian nodded with a smile and walked away. Evelina took a few more orders until her coworker joined in and she went to serve the cheesecake to Adrian. It was not a large one, but a small one. "Please, enjoy," Evelina said and at the same time, she placed an envelope beside it.
