" I did do more x-rays to be sure Alpha  and when they came back, well they strange to say the least. They show her bones breaking in various different places .By the looks of it, it's been happening for a long period of time months even."

Is that the cause of it , the pain and bruising that has been happening to her? asked Jase.

" Yes it definitely is, right now I have done everything I could to make her comfortable and to ensure that she's getting enough rest to heal. The rest is all up to her now."

"Don't worry Dr we'll make sure she has everything she needs to heal and that she's getting enough rest."

"Alpha there's something else I think you and Jase need to know about," Emily said as she stopped and turned to face myself and Jase just as she got to the door.

"What is is Emily?"

"After my examination on Alex , the only way I can now look at it ... well look at everything that's been happening with her all the bruising the scars the breaking of her bones , even though it's unexplainable to most cause we're looking at it from a point of her being a human. There's no easy way to say this but Alex is transforming. This is basically her transition period, if I'm correct."

" Transforming ?? Transforming into what Emily? , Jase looked relieved yet worried altogether as he asked this question.

"I'm not sure but whatever she is we can count on the fact that she is very powerful. Or else she would never have survived this long. As well as we need to take into account just how badass she is as a human now too. Her impeccable training skills and killer instincts as well as her extensive knowledge about us and everything in general will make her a force to be reckoned with."

I looked at Jase to find him already looking back at me, we both were relived but confused, but I know without a doubt I am never letting her go. I will protect her with my life.

"Excuse me Alpha, Beta I need to get her blood work to the lab to run further tests. She should be awake by the morning and free to go. I will advise that she does come in for regular check ups just so I may monitor her progress.
