Chapter Three- Continuation

" Okay we will be right outside, just in case."

As soon as we were alone I turn to Jase only to see he was just as worried as I was. "Jase what the hell is going on?" I asked concerned.

" I have no idea Ryan, I wish I knew myself but I keep coming up with nothing." He runs his hand through his hair and sighs in frustration. " She's the only one who can tell you what's going on, even if I do have an idea it isn't my place to say."

"So let me get this straight.. You do know or at least you think you have an idea of what's happening but you just won't tell me?? Your Alpha!!!

" Look man I understand that but she's my baby sister and it's for her top choose if she wants to share it with you or not and honestly she hasn't even told me I'm just guessing here."

" I need to know Jase , just tell me! I will deal with Alex in time when she comes to know." 

"Why do you need to know Jase?? Its not like you know her that well. I mean you just left after your ninth birthday weekend almost ten years ago and all during that time not once did you mention her . You just forgot all about her once you left."

"BECAUSE SHE'S MY MATE!!!" I yelled back .

Jase looks back at me shocked and I immediately know what's going through his mind .

" You mother chucking asshat!!! You're my Alpha hence I can't kick your ass but how the hell can you do that her?? She kept thinking she wasn't enough after you left  she maid it her very top goal to find out every single thing there is to know about our kind . She has more knowledge about us than even we do. The elders go to her for advise too, even the pack doctors go to her in cases that have them dumbfounded."

"Jase I never rejected her, yes I stayed away despite knowing that she is my mate but I have never said I rejected her. I just told her we could never be more than friends even if that is what I want. I can't let that happen. We've been best friends since before i lost my mom Jase , you know why I don't want a mate, why I need to keep her safe. I'm DOING THIS FOR HER.
